Common name: Soft Lady's Mantle
Scientific name: Alchemilla mollis 柔毛羽衣草, 斗篷草
Genus: Alchemilla 羽衣草屬
Family: Rosaceae 薔薇科, rose family
Origin: Neophyte (established after 1500 AD). It is a native of S.E. Europe and S. W. Asia. It is cultivated in Britain since 1874 and was first recorded in the wild in 1948.
The epicalyx lobes of this species are as long as the sepals whereas the epiclayx lobes of the other species of of Alchemilla in UK are distinctly shorter than the sepals.
