Scientific name: Tellima grandiflora 飾緣花, 大穗杯花
Genus: Tellima 飾緣花屬, 穗杯花屬
Family: Saxifragaceae 虎耳草科, saxifrage family

Remarks:

Origin: Neophyte (established after 1500 AD). It is a native of western N. America. It was introduced to cultivation in 1826 and was recorded from the wild by 1908.

A fully opened flower. There are five petals and five sepals, ten stamens and one style. Sepals are very small green strips that lie between adjacent petals.
