2013 A glabrous, rhizomatous perennial, can reach up to 40cm. Leaves mostly basal, up to 30cm long x 5mm wide, often curved, similar on both surfaces, erect and Iris-like.

2011 Fruiting now....6 tepals (golden yellow when it is a flower); 1 style already swollen, changing to capsule; could still see filaments densely hairy, anther originally orange, now turning to white.
2005 Fruiting now. Originally 6-20 flowers in a raceme.
