Common name: Shrubby Cinquefoil
Scientific name: Dasiphora fruticosa 金露梅、金老梅、金蠟梅、藥王茶、棍兒茶*
Genus: Dasiphora 金露梅屬
Family: Rosaceae 薔薇科, rose family

Remarks*: Its synonym is Potentilla fruticosa.

Origin: Native in Britain and Ireland and a neophyte (established after 1500 AD) in the Channel Islands.

29 A deciduous, much-branched shrub, can reach up to about 1m. It could be dioecious (having one sex per plant) or hermaphrodite (having both sexes in a single plant).
