Nuphar lutea 歐亞萍蓬草
Common name: Yellow Water-lily
Scientific name: Nuphar lutea 歐亞萍蓬草
Genus: Nuphar 萍蓬草屬
Family: Nymphaeaceae 睡蓮科, water lily family

Date: 18th July
leaves up to 30 cm long , with up to 28 veins in herringbone arrangement whereas Nuphar pumila 萍蓬草, the Least Water-lily, has leaves only up to 13 cm long, with up to 18 lateral veins
Flower bud
Flower of 4-6 cm in diameter, top of ovary not lobed whereas Nuphar pumila, the Least Water-lily, has flower of 1.5-3.5 cm in diameter, top of ovary deeply lobed.
