Sanguisorba minor subsp. minor

Remarks*: Its synonym is Poterium sanguisorba subsp. sanguisorba (Poterium sanguisorba is called 止血草 whereas Poteriumin is called 多蕊地榆屬 in Chinese.)

Sanguisorba minor subsp. balaerica

Common name: Fodder Burnet
Scientific name: Sanguisorba minor subsp. balaerica 
Species name: Sanguisorba minor 小地榆
Genus: Sanguisorba 地榆屬
Family: Rosaceae 薔薇科, rose family

Remarks*: Its synonym is Poterium sanguisorba subsp. balaericum (Poterium sanguisorba is called 止血草 whereas Poteriumin is called 多蕊地榆屬 in Chinese.)

Origin: Neophyte (established after 1500 AD). It is a native of S. Europe. It was introduced in 1803 and was formerly grown for fodder. It was recorded from the wild by 1849.

Date: 7th May & 1st June

93 It is more robust and taller plant, can reach to 80 cm, than  Poterium sanguisorba subsp. sanguisorbaSalad Burnet, which can reach to 50 cm.
